The first time I saw Scout act, she completely shocked me. I thought she was fabulous. I named this fanlisting "Astounding" because she
is completely astounding and I hope to see more of her work soon.
Scout Taylor Compton was born Desariee Starr Compton on February 21, 1989 in Long Beach, California. She has also been nicknamed Scoutie.
Scout has acted in films ranging from the drama genre to the horror genre. Her appearances in he horror genre has earned her the nickname of
"scream queen". Scout started out with small film roles and recurring television television roles in well known tv shows such as Gilmore Girls,
Ally McBeal, Charmed, and Unfabulous. She landed her first major role in the film entitled, Sleepover. This was a comedy film who's target
audience was teenagers. In 2006, Scout had different roles in films such as Tomorrow is Today and Wicked Little Things, Scout won an award for
"Best Actress" at Method Fest for her part in Wicked Little Things.
Scout has also finished filming for the movie, Love's Unfolding Dream, in which she played a country girl in the 1800s who had a dream to be a doctor.
She has also had one her biggest roles yet in the movie, Halloween, which is a remake of of the 1978 movie. She is also appearing in two soon to be
released movies in 2008: Pearblossom and April Fool's Day (a remake of 1986 movie).
Aside from acting, Scout has enjoyed competitive swimming, volleyball, cheerleading, gymnastics, rock climbing, and rollerblading. She has also had
four cats with the names Sprocket, Jordan, Baby, and Zoey and two dogs with the names Bear and Lexi. It is said she no longer has her dog Bear or
her cat Sprocket.
Scout is also a big fan of horror films. She also enjoys listening to different various rock music groups and musicians such as The Misfits, Nickelback,
Alkaline Trio, Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, and NOFX.
Scout has stated that after acting that she is thinking about going to college and studying to be a mortician. She has also stated to actor and director, Ron
Howard, that she would one day like to become a film director.
